Good strategy lays out the direction you wish to take to get from point A (where you are now) to Point B (where you want to be). Tactics comprise the intermediate steps along the way from A to B.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly with sales, Rich says sales strategy should seek to develop brand champions from prospects. Along the way, he describes, are a a series of tactics, the <a href=\"https:\/\/aligntoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Sales-StaircaseTM-Worksheet.pdf\">Sales Staircase<\/a> (worksheet), that nurture the prospect to client and client to champion relationship. Choose<\/strong> your best prospects based on an analysis of current best clients<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Connect\u00a0<\/strong>with your prospects where they are<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Converse\u00a0<\/strong>to build awareness and trust<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"Font__title Subheading__title\">Present<\/h4>\n<p><strong>4. Confirm\u00a0<\/strong>that you offer a relevant solution<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Clarify\u00a0<\/strong>any questions or concerns and\u00a0<em>why<\/em> they<\/p>\n<p><strong>6.
