Any report metric in Salesforce can be linked to a Critical Number or Priority. Updates to the report value in Salesforce trigger updates to your KPIs in Align. It\u2019s that easy. Save time chasing down metric updates for important company metrics in Align such as your:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Sales Pipeline<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Active Lead Count<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>3-month Trailing Win Rate<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Instead, focus on sharing, communicating and discussing impacts with your team.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"Font__heading Font__heading--alt2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Connect Your Align Account to Salesforce<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To activate the integration, an admin user in your account will have to provide their login credentials to your Salesforce account. settings in Salesforce, you may be asked to provide Two-Factor Authentication by entering a verification code sent via text to the phone number on your Salesforce profile:<\/span><img See the &#8220;Connect Your Critical Numbers&#8221; and &#8220;Connect Your Priorities&#8221; sections later in this document for more details.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"Font__heading Font__heading--alt2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Get Your Salesforce Reports Ready<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once your Salesforce and Align accounts are connected, you should take a couple of steps with your Salesforce reports to get them ready to connect:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"Font__heading--alt\"><strong>Place reports you want to use in the \u201cPublic Reports\u201d folder in Salesforce.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>(Note: in Salesforce Classic, this folder is called &#8220;Unified Public Reports&#8221;)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload alignnone size-medium wp-image-8988 aligncenter\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27180%27%20height%3D%27300%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20180%20300%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27180%27%20height%3D%27300%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/aligntoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/image1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only reports in this folder will be available to connect. To do this, either:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make a copy of an existing Report, and move it to the Public Reports folder. Select a Report, and select <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Edit<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Select <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Save As<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the upper-right corner of the report. On the next page click the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select Folder<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> button. Metrics are summary statistics based on the numeric columns in your report. Metrics appear at the top of Reports when you run the Reports. That would result in the values potentially being different when viewed by someone in Salesforce and in Align.<\/p>\n<p>To avoid this issue, Relative Filters (&#8220;My&#8221; and &#8220;My Team&#8217;s&#8221;) should\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not<\/span> be used on Reports you are connecting to Align. Only use &#8220;All&#8221;.
